Natural, age-appropriate results

Your hairline is drawn by hand, matched to your face and planned for how you will look decades from now.

One surgeon. One specialty.

Dr. Contractor does not split his time across a menu of cosmetic procedures. Hair restoration is his entire surgical career.

A comfortable, same-day procedure

Local anaesthesia, a private suite, films and breaks when you want them. Home the same day.

The Lone Star difference

Your FUE, tailored to your hair.

In FUE, each follicle is removed with a tiny circular instrument called a punch. Many clinics use the same punch on every patient. Dr. Contractor selects and adjusts the punch for each case, based on the thickness, curl and angle of your hair and the character of your skin.

Diameter: 0.8, 0.9 or 1.0 mm

Sized to your follicular units. As small as your hair allows to protect the donor area; larger where your grafts need room to come out intact.

Depth and length

Set to how deep your follicles sit, so each graft is removed whole rather than cut short.

Serrated or trumpet tip

A serrated edge scores firmer skin cleanly. A trumpet (flared) tip reduces damage to curly or steeply angled hair. The choice follows your hair, not the clinic's routine.

0.8 mm0.9 mm1.0 mm

More grafts that survive. A donor area no one notices.

What our patients say

I put this off for ten years. Dr. Contractor drew my hairline by hand in front of me and explained every decision. Eight months later, nobody can tell.
Marcus T.
FUE, 2,400 grafts, Dallas
Calm, patient and clearly an artist. He was honest about what was realistic, and the result matched what he described.
David R.
FUE, 1,900 grafts, Plano
My donor area healed so quickly my barber couldn't find it. He explained why he chose a smaller punch for my hair. That attention to detail is why I chose him.
Chris L.
FUE, 2,800 grafts, Frisco
I'd had a procedure elsewhere years ago that never looked right. Dr. Contractor redesigned my hairline and it finally looks like mine.
Anthony P.
FUE repair, Fort Worth
The team made the day easy. Films, lunch, breaks whenever I wanted. Home the same evening.
Jason M.
FUE, 2,200 grafts, Dallas
Did PRP after my transplant on Dr. Contractor's recommendation. The whole plan felt built around me.
Omar K.

FAQ

Questions we hear most

Calm, conservative answers. More in the full FAQ.

Is an FUE hair transplant painful?
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, so the scalp is numb. Most patients feel the numbing injections and a pulling or pressure sensation at times, and then mostly nothing. Soreness afterwards is usually mild and managed with simple medication.
Will I be awake during the procedure?
Yes. You are awake and comfortable, and you can watch films, talk or take a break when you want one. Dr. Contractor will go over comfort options with you at your consultation.
How long does the procedure take?
It is a same-day procedure and the length depends on the number of grafts planned. Larger sessions take most of a day, with breaks built in. You go home the same day.
What is recovery like?
Most people return to desk work within a few days, though redness and small scabs in the treated areas take longer to settle. You will receive written aftercare instructions, and activities such as hard exercise are paused for a period.
When will I see results?
Transplanted hairs usually shed in the first weeks and new growth typically starts around months 3 to 4. The full result is generally seen around 12 months. Individual results vary.
How much does a hair transplant cost in Dallas?
Cost depends mainly on the number of grafts, the technique and any add-ons. We explain the factors in plain terms and give you an estimate after your consultation. Read the cost guide →
Why does punch size and tip type matter?
The punch is the small instrument that removes each follicle. Dr. Contractor selects and adjusts its diameter, depth and tip for each patient's hair and skin so grafts come out whole and the donor area is protected. See how punch selection works →
Am I a good candidate?
It depends on the stability of your hair loss, the density of your donor area and your goals. A consultation with Dr. Contractor is the only way to answer this honestly, and sometimes the answer is to wait or to start with medical treatment.
